Entrepreneurs are frequently thought of as national assets to be cultivated, motivated, and remunerated to the greatest possible extent. Great entrepreneurs have the ability to change the way of life and work. If successful, their innovations may improve standards of living, and in addition to creating wealth with entrepreneurial ventures, they also create jobs and contribute to a growing economy.
The objective of this course is to familiarize the concept of entrepreneurship and to equip students with the basic principles of Entrepreneurial Finance which is a combination of of entrepreneurship and finance disciplines. Since entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role towards the development of a country, this module encourage students to address contemporary issues through the concept of entrepreneurship by starting up a new venture and running it successfully. Finance is the key resource for a start up venture and it determines the fate of the business. Therefore, this module will address the most important basic entrepreneurial financial concepts which are essential for a start up venture.
